By putting our passion into these two pursuits, we create unique, innovative and highly functional products that make parenting easier, better and more fun. Based in New York City, Skip Hop is available world-wide for parents who appreciate better products that help improve their busy lives.

How It Started
In 2003, new parents Ellen and Michael Diamant were a lot like new parents everywhere: overjoyed with the birth of their son, and overwhelmed with so many choices, so little time, and so few solutions that satisfied.

When they searched for a diaper bag that looked great and worked well, they found nothing. So they invented something.

Almost a decade and hundreds of products later, Ellen and Michael are still inventing “everything-in-its-place” solutions that are smart, functional and great- looking for overjoyed, busy parents like themselves.

Today, Skip Hop is a global brand recognized by discerning parents for innovation, great design and the highest quality in the baby products business.

We want to make our products perfect and we're fanatical about product safety. So our team works tirelessly perfecting every detail, component, color and feature until it meets our extraordinarily high design standards and exceeds all applicable safety requirements.

If we're not completely in love with a product we've created, we'd never sell it to you.

When you a buy a Skip Hop creation, we want you to feel that no detail was overlooked, nothing was left to chance and that our team put countless hours into making it the best product we possibly can.

Skip Hop products meet or exceed all applicable standards for product safety in the markets we sell to. This includes physical/mechanical standards, as well as recent legislation regarding chemicals and minerals such as BPA, lead and Phthalates.

All parties involved in the manufacture of Skip Hop products are required to follow these guidelines, and all tests are conducted by registered independent testing facilities.
